Crystal has had quite a life already at only a few months old!  She was running outside as a stray right here in Crystal Lake.  A kind human realized she was not a wild rat and caught her in a humane live trap, and brought her to Animal Care and Control.  We had agreed to take her after the standard stray hold but when she gave birth to 9 babies the day after rescue, we took her in a little early to make sure she had the care she needed.    Crystal and her babies will be looking for homes right around the first week of December in groups of at least 2. She is a very sweet, gentle girl.
